Six?

Congressman Brian Babin, a dentist-turned-freshman Republican Congresscritter from Texas, aims to show the Supreme Court not to hornswoggle with him.

Babin has introduced H. 2905, which would require the Court to enroll for health coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

Spite legislation seems to be this freshman congressman's specialty. He is parked in a series of backwater committees after voting against the election of the Speaker in January, and as a native Teabagistani, has called for the impeachment of the President, building longer, higher walls, cutting taxes on business, cutting taxes on business some more, and denying food assistance to anyone who is unemployed. He is a dentist who got elected to Congress on his third try over two decades. The first run he paid civil penalties for being involved with a campaign money-laundering scheme with Tom Delay; the second time his top campaign aide resigned in a homosexual scandal, and his main claim to fame this time is being father-in-awl to a Fox News babe. Announcing his SCOTUSCare bill on his official website, Babin declared: "“As the Supreme Court continues to ignore the letter of the law, it’s important that these six individuals understand the full impact of their decisions on the American people. That’s why I introduced the SCOTUScare Act to require the Supreme Court and all of its employees to sign up for Obamacare. By eliminating their exemption from Obamacare, they will see firsthand what the American people are forced to live with!” It is not clear whether Babin thinks the Court vote on the ACA case was 6-3, or whether he really thinks there are only six members of the Court. As with all Republican health care plans, it would leave a third of its intended market without coverage.

A coy of Babin's Brainwave is here.
